NMBL Strategies was already working with the Golden Lotus Foundation on a Feasibility Study for a new Asian Heritage Center when the Foundation brought up a need for Board Training. NMBL stepped in to work with the Golden Lotus Foundation Board of Directors on three critical areas:
Understanding the Primary Role of a Board of Directors
Golden Lotus Foundation Mission and Planning
Board Assignments and Gaps
These three sections ensured the Board understood the roles and responsibilities of a nonprofit board member, agreed to the mission and plans of the Golden Lotus Foundation, and then understood their personal roles in the mission and plans of the Foundation. By taking this three stepped approach the Foundation was much better aligned and able to move forward together.
